PART 1

Day One:
My eyes fluttered open, giving me a slight glimpse of an unfamiliar location, before the light overloaded my eyes and I had to snap them shut again.

I tried to rub my eyes, but, I found myself unable to move my arms. Or... The rest of my body. I seemed to be able to move my neck and my head at least.

Still unable to properly open my eyes, I simply resorted to calling out "Hello? Hello?!"

"Oh god he woke up! Not now not now not now!" I heard a voice exclaim.

I heard footsteps as I strained and finally managed to open my eyes, catching a glimpse of a door slamming shut. Confused, I took in my surroundings.

White tile floor... Beige blue walls, cabinets and jars... Medical supplies... A pretty stereotypical hospital if I'd ever seen one.

But that raised a question. Why was I here? What happened?

I tried to see if I was in any pain, but no, I just... couldn't feel anything neck down.

Panic set it. What happened?! Was something wrong with me?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!

I began to hyperventilate. My heart beat raised. I could hear the thudding in my ears.

As I took my next rapid breath, I drew in something else as well. Something... Foul... It hurt to breathe in, a stench so powerful my first thought was to attribute it to an unseen nearby patient having an... 'accident'. Either that or a broken sewer pipe ran through the hospital... I couldn't think of an explanation for this horrid stench.

Realizing I couldn't do anything about it, my heartrate raised higher.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

A machine beside me suddenly started emitting a high pitched beeping noise that hurt my ears.

"Oh god" I could faintly hear someone say over the beeping.

The door creaked open, before a woman creeped in. Her face was red, like she was blushing, for some reason.

She had decently short messy brown hair, bright skin, and stunning blue eyes. From what she wore, I could only assume she was a nurse. A classic white lab coat like uniform. To be honest I thought that was just something movies and tv shows did, but apparently not.

She gulped. "Is everything ok?"

"I don't know..." I murmured, lightheaded from hyperventilation and whatever that smell was.

"I'm supposed to inform you of what happened"

"What? What happened?"

"Well... We believe that you slammed into a railing while biking somehow, and that damaged your spine, as well as the connection to your brain, which induced a bit of a... coma, and, some paralysis"

"PARALYSIS?!" I yelled uncontrollably, shocked.

"Wait, wait. We're sure it's temporary. The doctor says it'll probably take around, um... a week, to a month, then you'll get full function back"

Unable to accept the reality, I stared up at the ceiling.

"I've gotta go" she said as she began to leave.

"Wait!" I called to her.

"Yeah?" she asked as she turned around.

"What is that smell? It's like... I dunno, it's really bad. Do you know?"

She stopped. Her cheeks which had returned to it's palish tone reddened once again. "W-well that's... It's... I... What smell?" After saying that she appeared to sigh and curse under her breath.

How could she not smell this? I wouldn't be surprised if the whole hospital could smell this.

"The... The like... Horrible smell? How can you not smell it? It smells absolutely disgusting and-"

"Shut up!" she yelled suddenly.

...

"What?"

She sighed, and walked up to my bed, taking a seat in the chair beside it. "Look... The smell... It's... A fart..."

"A fart? No way! This is way too powerful!"

"Just shut up ok?! It's my fart, I did it right before you woke up"

"This was you?!"

"YES, it was. Just..." she said as she leaned in close to me. "Look, it's a condition ok? I can't control it. I know it seems like an awful thing to do but... When there isn't a nearby bathroom, and I really have to let one out, unconscious patients rooms are like a... refuge, for me, to... You know... Fart"

"So you just... Have to fart, and just walk into an unconscious persons room and let one out?"

"Yeah, that's about it. Don't you dare tell anyone" she warned.

"Ok? Sure, why would I even?"

"You'd think that, but not everyone's nice enough to keep a secret"

"You can trust me"

"Good" she sighed. "Well anyway, hey, I'm Charlotte, I'm the nurse assigned to you"

I looked at her. That putrid smell still hung in the air, barely showing any signs of fading. Would I have to deal with this for a whole month?

"What's that look for?"

"Nothing... Nothing"

"Ok, if you need anything, call. We don't really have anything for anyone with, near full body paralysis like you"

"sigh Right... Can you turn on the tv?"

"Sure" she said as she picked up the remote, and with me found a channel that I'd like, said goodbye, turned off the lights, and left.

I got no sleep that night. Not one wink. I was much too worried, and anxious, and stressed. It had taken a looong while for the fart to fade away, and every moment of it drove in the fact that I'd be tended too for anywhere from a week to a month with the person who created such an unbearable stench. But that was the least of my worries. How would I eat? Drink? Go to the bathroom? What would my life become? I guess I'll just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Day two:
It was like a jolt of electricity when the lights suddenly came on in my room. Charlotte walked in, wearing her uniform, but something seemed different. I realized it. She looked down, and her cheeks were red, as were her eyes. And... It seemed like she'd been crying.

"Morning" she said in an annoying 'fuck everything I don't care' tone.

"M-morning..." I murmur. I have no energy at all.

Her face softens suddenly. "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing... I just couldn't sleep"

"That's fair..." she said as she ruffled through supplies, before slamming her hands down and sighing. "Look can I talk to you?"

"umm... Yeah, sure"

She took a seat beside me on the bed. "Ok so, you remember my problem I told you about yesterday?"

I don't know how I could forget it. "Yeah, the fart thing"

"Right... So, you also remember how I said that not everyone can keep a secret?"

I could kind of tell where this was going. "Yeah?"

"Ok so..." she began, as she began to tell me the full story. A story going along the lines of how one of her friends who knew about her problem got mad at her and told her other friends after she accidentally let one out around them. I just nodded and agreed with her.

"And that's about it. Fuck her. FUCK her." she groaned.

"Yeah"

"Hey, thanks for listening to me"

"No problem"

She smiled. "I was ummm... Supposed to tell you something... Uuuh... OH right! The doctor's gonna check in with you today, fill you in on some more info. He'll be here in about an hour"

"Ok"

"Ummm... Do you mind if I wait here with you?"

I was surprised by this request.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean... I'm supposed to be with you when the doctor checks in, but I've got nowhere else to be, I figured I'd just stay with you, is that alright?"

"Yeah, that's all good"

"Thanks" she said with a smile.

We just sat, and watched tv. But as I took the occasional glance to her from the tv, I decided to say something.

"You know, those people don't really sound like friends if they can't accept it"

"Oh... Yeah, I guess..."

"I really think you should talk to them, tell them how stupid they're being, and just let them know how you feel"

"I don't know..."

"Look, just trust me. I've had my fair share of dicks who I thought were my friends. Just do it"

"I dunno... I'll see..."

And then, silence. We continued to sit in silence, but I could tell she was really thinking hard about what I had said.

BBLLLLLLLLMMMMMPPPPPPPRRRRRRMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRPPPP

Or... Maybe that look of quiet thought and determination was actually just her trying to hold in a fart.

It lasted six seconds, and since her butt was right beside me, it was let out onto the blanket right on me. If I had feeling in my body, I'm sure I would have felt intense bubbling and rumbling roar against my arm, but for now I could only feel the gas gliding across the blanket and hitting me in the face. It was loud, powerful, gross, and concerningly wet sounding.

She jumped up and began to pace the room in circles going "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck... Fuck!" she ran back to me. "I am SO SORRY"

"It's... gag... It's ok..." I manage to make out. I was not prepared for that. And... It smelled WORSE than her monster from yesterday. Being able to move wouldn't be able to help here. It smelled like what I'd imagine a thousand used diapers mixed with faecal sewer water would smell like.

"No no no, it's not" she exclaimed. Then, footsteps were heard. Distantly coming closer.

Her head shot up. "FUCK, that must be the doctor... No no no no no... You can't let him know it was me"

"What? Do you want me to say it was me? What on earth could you pin this on?"

"I DON'T KNOW!"

"I don't know what I'd say if I was asked"

"Look... Just don't say it was me... If you do..." she began as she stuck her ass right beside my face, the horrid smell floating off it. She had a... Very nice ass, to say the least. "I'll let out the nastiest, most disgusting fart ever right in your face, got it?"

I couldn't respond. Even in this situation, with my nostrils on fire, with all that was happening, being the... well I mean I would say dirty minded but who isn't when there's an ass like that right in their face... that I am, I guess, I couldn't help but stare at her ass, and, I didn't feel it but, my arousal at this gave me an... erection...

And, she saw.

"WHAT?! WAIT WAIT WAIT! Why are you?!" she stammered and blushed.

I blushed too. "I CAN'T HELP IT! Can you blame me? You shoved your ass right in my face!"

She seemed taken aback, but had a look in her face where she couldn't really find a way to dispute that.

"ALRIGHT ALRIGHT FINE" she said, the footsteps much closer now.

The door swung open, and, in an attempt to hide my... You know, out of pure instinct she just sat down. I think she meant to sit down in front of me, and it, but... She sat down on it. "EEP!" she squeaked as she jumped up, before scrambling to sit back down, now properly sitting in front, her face red like a tomato. This bit of cuteness didn't really help it, as it only made it worse.

I looked to see, who I assumed from the doctor, and... I was kind of surprised. I was used to most doctors being, old, or, I dunno, just, not this.

He was really tall, from what I could tell. He had short messy brown hair, was decently thin, and was very nice looking. Honestly if I was gay this would probably be my type of guy, as embarrassing as that is.

"Hey there, I'm Doctor aisle" he said, his voice extremely soft and pleasant. "And..." he suddenly went silent. "What is... What is that smell?"

Both of us remained silent. She trembled.

As she managed to jerk open her mouth to speak, she was interrupted by "Well, it's of no matter" the doctor said. I was surprised. Honestly, I expected whoever was to walk in through that door to run away for their lives. "In any case it's still quite unpleasant, Charlotte could you open that window?" he asked, pointing to a window behind her across the room.

She looked from the window, to my penis, to me. It still hadn't disappeared.

"Charlotte?"

She could easily get up, but she clearly didn't want to embarrass me. Then her eyes lit up. "Sure doctor, but also, this patient has been complaining about moderate neck pain, would it be possible to get him some medication?"

"Of course" The doctor said, "I'll get that now" he turned around, and began to search through cupboards for meds.

Charlotte quickly leaned in close to me. "Look" she whispered, "I don't want to embarrass you in front of the doctor, and... I don't think you'll be able to get it down on your own... So I'm going to let out a silent fart, and please try and sniff it all up. If a fart from me won't kill it, nothing will"

"Wait wait what?!" I whispered quickly.

She leaned away from me, lifting the butt-cheek close to my face up, and squinted, before sighing in relief seconds later.

Too late now. Oh. God. Oh... MY... GOD... It smelled... So bad, it can't even be put into words. The smell of bad eggs and faeces overpowered my nostrils, and my nose felt as if it was burning off.

I saw Charlotte turn back to me as she opened the window, and gave me a look, that she was sorry, but it had to be done.

But... It worked. To be honest... I'd probably rather have the doctor see my predicament then had to have smelled that.

The smell faded out the window, I got my pain meds, we went through with the check up, and it was only mid day. Nothing was really gained for it, the doctor just asked me questions and double checked his diagnosis.

When it finished, and he left, Charlotte sat down beside me, and said... "I'm sorry"

"It's ok..."

"No it's not, I shouldn't have... I shouldn't have"

"Charlotte. It's ok. I'd hug you if I could, you know... Move"

"Thanks" she sniffled.

We looked into each others eyes for a moment, and she got the most sweet, genuine smile I'd ever seen.

"Charlotte?" the door opened and the doctor popped his head in.

"Y-YEAH?" she stammered, as if she'd just been caught stealing money or something.

"Can you come with me? I need you to look over his symptoms with me and double check the diagnosis"

"O-OH! Yes! Of course" she said as she got up and began to trot off. But then, she turned back to me, and in a singsong, playful, sweet tune that I will never forget, sung out "See you soon~" before skipping out of the room.

I had to say. Maybe... Maybe staying here for a while wouldn't be so bad.

PART 2

Day 3:
It was my third day here, in the hospital, and my second full day. I thought this crushing boredom I'd felt for the past two days couldn't get any worse, but when you're in a room, all alone, watching tv over and over and over again, it gets boring, very boring, very quickly. I had managed to get a tiny bit of sleep. I practically forced my body to sleep mentally, as to do anything to pass the time, before I'd have something to do, or at least see Charlotte again. So when the lights flickered on, and I opened my eyes...

"Hey Charlotte, good mo-" I said as I turned to look at her before I froze.

The woman, standing there, organizing my medicine... Wasn't Charlotte. It was a shortish girl, with dark, Cleanly cut, brown hair that hung over one of her eyes. She had a look on her face that showed CLEARLY that she was tired, and bored. She sighed, picked up the medicine tray and lazily dropped it down on the table beside me. She sat down by my side, took a pill in her hand, and hung it over my mouth.

I wasn't sure... Where was Charlotte?

She sighed again, clearly annoyed. "Well? Are you gonna open your mouth or not?"

There was such uncaringness and irritation in her voice, it almost made you wish you weren't hearing it. It wasn't that it was a bad voice... She just had a way of speaking that I absolutely hated.

"W-where-" I opened my mouth and began to speak, but she casually dropped the pill in my mouth, causing me to gag for a moment before choking it down.

"What the hell?!" I yelled at her.

"Oh, shut up, I told you to open your mouth, don't blame me that you weren't prepared"

I scowled. "Where's Charlotte?"

She thought for a moment. "Charlotte? The other nurse? Oh she got transferred to a different patient"

"... What?"

"You heard me, the hospital requested her transfer for some reason, experience or something"

"And... You're my?..."

"New nurse? Yeah, unfortunately, I am"

My mind raced as she casually grabbed some food off a plate she brought in. She held it out to my mouth. "Eat. And eat quick, I wanna get out of here soon, ok?"

I reluctantly opened my mouth as she placed the food in. Every second I would spend chewing she would stare at me with the coldest look I'd ever seen, as if every second longer I was making her stay with me was like torture, and by taking time to chew I was somehow subjecting her too more.

When I'd finished, she shot up, and grimaced. "Fuckin finally..." and began to walk off.

"Wait! What's your name?"

"Erica" she said bluntly as she stomped out the door.

"Fuck me..." I murmured. I... How could I end up getting stuck with a woman like this? Why? Why did Charlotte have to transfer? Why did fate have to leave me in the hands of someone like this?

I spent nearly the whole day alone. She never came to visit. Well, she did, but only when she had to. Medicine, food, water, and that was it. I spent the rest of the day all alone. And, this was the first of many to come.

This period of time was awful, it hurts even to think about it.

Day 4:
The same thing. I woke up to Erica annoyedly stomping into the room, frustratedly giving me my medicine, and giving me that cold, death stare as I ate. Once again, I would barely see her again through the day.

Day 5:
Same thing.

Day 6:
Same thing.

Day 7:
Same thing.

Day 8:
Same thing.

Day 9:
The lights flickered on. I tiredly leaned over. "Hiii Erica- HUH?"

In front of me, was not the tired, angry woman I'd become accustomed to... That bright skin, that brown hair tied back into a ponytail, those beautiful blue eyes... It was... Charlotte.

"Charlotte?!" I nearly yelled.

She turned to me, and beamed. "Yeah! It's me! Nice to see you again!"

I stared as she skipped over, and dropped down beside me, placing the tray on the table. She smiled so wide, it was almost insane. She trembled, as if she was trying to contain the energy of nuclear reactor inside of her.

"I... Weren't you transferred?"

"I waaaas, but..." she blushed a little as she said this. "I... I did a lot of paper work, and talking, and organizing... And I finally managed to get myself transferred back here to you..."

"Why?"

"Becaaaaause... Ummmmmm..." she blushed and looked down. "Ummmm... Ummmm... UUUUUH... I just... Ummm... I... Didn't like my patient?" This was a blatant lie. It was clear that she was trying to think of an excuse, and besides that she even phrased he response like a question.

"Charlotte... You don't have to make excuses! If you wanted to be transferred back to me you can just say it!"

She didn't respond. She just sat there. "Well... In any case, I'm back now!"

I giggled. It was adorable how obvious she was making it, but wouldn't admit it.

She caught me laughing. "S-shut up! Don't laugh! I wanted a transfer is all..."

"You sure the patient didn't just catch you farting and requested a transfer themselves?" I smirked. Instead of reacting to this bit of teasing like I expected, she laughed.

"N-no! But I wouldn't blame them!"

She really was in a good mood, wasn't she?

"Well, I should go finish the transfer paperwork up, it's good to see you again!" she waved, and began to walk off.

"Wait!"

She turned back to me confused. "Huh?"

I sighed. "You forgot to give me the food, and the meds"

Her eyes opened wide. "OH! Oh god I'm so sorry, I just, I was too excited and I forgot, and forgive me, and-"

"It's ok! It's ok. Don't worry about it"

She quickly skipped back over, and took a seat beside me again. And, she gave me my food and the meds. It was, so nice... She had so much more care, and happiness than Erica did. I smiled as we finished up. "God, I missed this..."

"What? Missed what?" she asked as she cleaned her hands on a napkin.

"Being able to do the routine comfortably... Just, with the other nurse, she was so cold, it was the worst... You're so much better, thank you"

She smiled. "Awww, t-thanks! Hold on... You had Erica right?"

Just hearing that name made me frown.

"I'll take that as a yes" she said, catching my grimace. "She... Ummmm... Let's just say, I don't like her..."

"Yeah" I gritted my teeth. "I can see why"

"That bad?"

"Yup. That bad."

"Well, I'm glad you're happy I'm back!"

"I really am, you're way, way better than her"

She grinned and ruffled my hair. "Awww... Well... I should go now, paperwork and allll..."

She stood up and began to leave. She couldn't be going already, I thought and thought, trying to find a proper way to get her to stay with me for a bit. Lucky me, she gave me one.

BBBBBLLLLLMMMMMMMRRRMRMRMMMMMMMMMAMAAAAAAAAAALALLARRRPPRPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOPLLP

A massive fart began to burst out of her ass. It was 8 seconds long, loud, and extremely powerful.

"G-god damn it..." she muttered, clenching her fists.

I may have missed her, but I really, really didn't miss this smell. The smell of faeces was nearly too powerful, causing my stomach to lurch and my face to scrunch up. It wasn't even as bad as some of the other ones I smelled, but, that by NO MEANS meant it didn't smell so bad that it made me wish I didn't have a nose.

By the way she was shaking, it seemed like she was about to run away. I needed to say something, NOW, to get her to stay. I had an idea of what I was trying to say, but I couldn't get my mouth to stay open as I felt like I could practically taste the gas.

"Ughhhh... Ummm... C-Charlotte?"

She dropped her arms to the side and sorrowfully turned to me. "What?..."

"I know you have that... Paperwork, but... Ummmmm... I don't want this to be what you leave me with after you come back, can you stay with me a little bit?"

"There WAS no paperwork! That was just an excuse so I could leave, to... to... F-fart!"

"You... You could've just said you needed to fart?"

"Honestly... I'd hoped you'd forgotten about my problem..."

"Look, don't worry, it's-"

"Don't... Just don't..."

"Ok... Come here, sit down"

She sighed, and walked up, sitting down beside me, the smell getting even more powerful as she trailed along a concentrated cloud of toxicity behind her. As I looked up at her, and saw her face, her eyes glossy and watering, her lip quivering, sniffling, I felt the urge to comfort her so much it felt like it could even over power my paralysis.

"Charlotte, it's ok, it's ok"

"Is it really ok?"

"It's just a fart, it's not gonna ruin my life, or make me hate you or anything like that"

"I mean... I guess"

She picked up my hand and pressed it against her face, as I saw her relax immediately.

"Awwwwwww..."

She blushed when she heard me 'awww' and threw my arm down. "What's so cute?!"

"You don't have to stop, I don't mind"

She gently picked up my hand again before looking at me. "You... think it's cute?"

"Mhm" I nodded.

She stared at my hand, before pressing it against her face again and sighing.

"I'm so glad to have you back"

"I'm glad to be back"

She closed her eyes and smiled. Her soft breaths came out rhythmically with the rise and fall of her stomach, and the world seemed to fade away.

Then, she started to slowly lay down beside me all of a sudden, facing me, still gently clutching my hand. Her eyes open and looked deep into mine, the stunning blue even more beautiful this close.

But then, there was a knock on the door. *knock knock knock

"S-SHIT!" she yelled as she jumped in surprise, falling off the bed and hitting her head slightly on the side table. She sat on the ground rubbing the spot on her head. "Owwww...."

I began to laugh watching her sit bewildered like a child, that just fell flat on their face and was trying to decode what just happened.

"Don't laugh!"

"Whaaaat? It's funny!"

"Yeah, yeah..." she pouted, as she got up and opened the door.

In the doorway was the doctor. He leaned against the doorframe and casually said "Charlotte, can I speak with you quickly?". He turned to me, and we met eyes, smiling slightly and giving me a small wave.

"Yeah! Of course!" she ran over and picked up my hand, giving it a small peck, before running off. I was stunned as the door closed. But not because of the small kiss, because when she kissed me, I swear I felt in on my hand.

As the day went on, I began to feel it more and more, the feeling returning to my hands and arms. Charlotte had apparently been busy, with one thing or another, probably whatever the doctor called her out for, as assistant nurses were the ones to bring me my food and meds throughout the rest of the day. But I didn't tell them about my arms, I wanted it to be a special surprise for a special someone.

By the time the lights were all out, and I sat in the darkness at 'bed time', I could fully, albeit slow and clumsily, move my arms and hands. Before I went to bed, I spent a couple hours simply working my hands and arms, getting used to the movement of the muscles again, before putting them back by my sides and going to sleep.

Day 10:
The door opens, and the light comes on. My eyes flutter open as Charlotte walks in, looking tired, and looking sad.

"Charlotte?"

"Yeah, yeah... I know, I look like a mess"

She put the meds on the tray and walked over, placing them on the side table and taking them and holding them up to my mouth.

"Charlotte, wait one second. You're clearly in a bad state, tell me what's wrong"

she sighed, and sat down in the chair beside me.

"No point in hiding it I guess... I nearly got fired..."

"What? Why?"

"The transfer. The hospital wanted to make a request to transfer me back but I wouldn't let them do that to me, or you. So I argued, and I fought about it and I nearly got too mad and said some stuff I'd regret... But they agreed to keep me here with you, I just hope that doesn't change..."

"Oh... Well I thi-"

BBLALAAMAMMOOOOOAOAAARPRPAPPPPPPRRAALLLLLLLLAAOAOOOOOORRRTTPPPP

A long bubbly fart rumbled from underneath her into the chair fabric as she gripped the arms tightly. She blushed, but she couldn't stop it, the pressure had been too much. For a full 9 seconds it exploded beneath her before she gently loosened her grip on the arms and began to pant, her face flushed red.

"I'm so sorry... I'd been trying to hold it in..."

The room became noticeably warmer, at least around us. And the smell... God... The smell... The smell of faeces, of eggs, of meats, of whatever else she may have digested earlier to mix together into a horrific stench like this. It made my eyes water and my nose sting. And it didn't seem like it would go any time soon.

I couldn't even respond.

"I... A-are you ok?"

"I... I... I'm..."

She closed her eyes. "Why... Why do I have to be like this... I don't WANT to be like this, I HATE being like this... And I'm sure you hate me for it... I'm sorry I got transferred back, maybe I should just let myself be transferred again to spare you..."

"I... Charlotte... Come here..."

She stood up, and slowly moved to the side of the bed.

"Lean down"

She leaned down over me. I reached out, and hugged her tightly.

"AH!" she yelled in surprise.

FLLLLAOOAOAOOAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRTTPTPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

The monster that erupted from her behind in her surprise at first made me regret hugging her for a moment. The smell had already been awful from the beast, but was now somehow even worse. I felt my stomach churn and my head even started to pound as the stench overwhelmed me.

But I didn't let go, I hugged her tighter, and then, she began hugging me back. And suddenly, the smell disappeared from my mind. I closed my eyes, and just felt her against me. I could hear her breathing calm, and her grip around me tighten.

"Thank you..." she mumbled.

"My pleasure..." I muttered back.

She let go of me, and I let go of her too. Her eyes were watering and she had a giant smile on her face.

"I'm glad your arms are moving again"

"So am I, I didn't tell anyone because I wanted to surprise you"

"awww... Thanks... That was... Quite the surprise..."

"I can imagine"

"I've got to go... But you haven't eaten yet"

"It's fine, my arms work again now, I can do it on my own"

"Thanks" she smiled. "Alright! I'll see you later!" she waved as she ran off.

I giggled as I began to eat. She was such a sweetheart.

Throughout the rest of the day, she would come back, and not just to bring me food or meds, to talk, or hang out, or even once just for another hug. We had built a bond that I would treasure for the rest of my life and it made me look forward to the next day, more than ever.
